Recording at Dogwater

Today almost finished recording on 9 new The Tides songs. It was a trip. Shlongs strummed guitars and smacked snare drums. We discovered mysterious psychedelic crickets that ended up hanging out adding some percussion. I want to thank Rick at Dogwater, drugs, vaginas and enemas... Thx, love You!!!!

Get Rad Fest at Jubs

Another pic from the little shoot we did the other day. My eyes are closed, Brian's head is down, but Kevs expression is great. Channeling Gene Simmons maybe? I met Gene once. Asshole. Him and his wife just had plastic surgery and looked gross, both of they're lips were bigger than her wrists. 

Recording dates set for early November. Lots of new, catchy songs. Heavy and primal.

No shows planned for now. We are getting ready to record with Rick Spagnola at the beginning of November. A lot of new songs. Over 30 songs, we are just figuring out which songs to record and whether it will be another demo or an ep or lp. Bung!!!

The Alley 6/6/13

Thanks to the Alley for having us and to everyone that came out and stayed for our set. This is the 3rd time the 3 of us played together since our last drummer quit. Fortunately, Kevin is THE drummer for the Tides and Brian has got bass more than covered.

Cat Jelly was really great. One of the most clever, fun bands I have seen since coming to Reno. Thanks for the pic....muuuuuaaaahhh!

After being up for weeks on a massive bender, I was not sure we could pull it together. My amp blew 10 seconds into the first song.b You know when they take the.printer to the field in Office Space? That is what this amp has coming.to.it after this massive betrayal, but the good bros in the Comancheros gave me a loner. The show went on and we got all fucked up. Gap Dream fucking ruled, cool dudes. The Comancheros were spot on, soulful, talented kids.
